STFC Museum is coming soon

Spend an evening with STFC’s historian – Dick Mattick

Come and spend a unique evening with STFC’s official club historian Richard Mattick on Friday 27th Ocotober, as he shares stories of our beloved club’s history; it’s highs and lows, some of the amazing turns of fortune it has experienced, and news of the new Foundation Park training centre which aims to nurture local talent.

Richard has unique access to archive footage and prized items from the STFC collection, and will be joined by club ambassador John Trollope to share his recollections.

But more than this; In recognition of the club’s importance to generations of fans, STFC Museum is launching an appeal for items of memorabilia, football related family photographs and anecdotes for the club’s new museum, so if you think you have something of interest in that dusty old box on top of the wardrobe, please bring it to this event.

So come along, enjoy a night of shameless nostalgia and new discovery.

Doors open at 7pm for 7:30pm and will finish at 9pm.

Event held in the main hall, The Ellendune Centre, Barrett Way, Wroughton, Swindon SN4 9LW

The Ellendune has plentiful free parking.

Tickets cost £5.50 if bought from Wroughton Community Library, or £6.50 from eventbrite.

Organisers hope to raise awareness of the new museum at the County Ground, but proceeds will go to Wroughton Community Library

Come on you reds!
