The STFC Museum Collection
Swindon Town FC Museum Collection
The STFC Museum have an ever expanding collection of historical STFC related artefacts from programmes, medals, newspaper cuttings, pictures, worn player shirts to unique priceless artefacts. Some of these artefacts date back to the early 1900’s.
Our aim as a Museum charity is to secure a dedicated Museum space at the County Ground to exhibit these wonderful artefacts which we hope will come about very soon. In the meantime, we are building an online virtual museum as well as providing historical STFC related displays at the County Ground for fans to view when they attend matches and stadium tours. We look forward to you, as Swindon fans, seeing these artefacts and exhibits.

We are currently looking for pieces to appear in our collections.
If you have anything you want to give or lend to the Museum, please let us know.

Curation and loans
We have policies in place which guide collecting.
We mainly collect by donation, but we can also purchase an object if it’s of significant interest to the museum. It’s also possible to leave an item to the Museum as a legacy gift in your will, and you can also loan items to the Museum.
Once an object has been accepted into the collection, ownership will be legally transferred to the STFC Museum and the object will then be cared for according to recognised Museum standards.
If you would like to offer an object to the Museum, please contact us with as much information as possible.
Due to demands on space, we typically only accept objects on loan for Exhibitions and Special Displays. However, we may accept loans outside of these circumstances if the object/s is/are of particular interest to the Museum.
